About

A professional investor, using personal capital.

My day job is energy trading, where decisions are made under uncertainty and measured against a live P&L. That experience shapes how I read young companies: what the business depends on, what can go wrong, and whether the economics strengthen with scale.

I invest independently, sometimes as the sole investor and sometimes alongside a lead. I stay involved where it helps: pricing, market structure, fundraising and the harder judgement calls. I'm there when founders need me.

Based in Dubai. Away from markets: tennis, rugby and skiing.

Investment mandate

Where I invest.

Pre-seed and seed, anywhere in the world. I lead or invest solo where I'll be closely involved, and co-invest alongside a lead where that serves the company better. The capital is my own and the decision is mine.

Working together

What comes with the cheque.

Venture introductions

I hold equity in venture funds and sit close to the investors around them. When a company is ready to raise, I open the right doors.

Founder coaching

A standing line to someone who prices risk professionally: fundraising strategy, negotiation, pricing and the decisions founders lose sleep over.

What wins at scale

Private companies succeed at scale for repeatable reasons. I help founders recognise the pattern early: durable margins, disciplined rounds and a business the next investor can underwrite.

What I look for

The questions behind the decision.

Is the advantage real?

A product, technical capability or market insight that is difficult to reproduce.

Is the market big enough?

A total addressable market that can carry a large company, and a believable route to a meaningful share of it.

Is there evidence?

Proof appropriate to the company's stage, whether technical, commercial or behavioural.

Does the team know the market?

Founders who understand the customer, the competition and the constraints in detail.
